I am a student at Wigram Primary School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Kia ora Amber,
ReplyDeleteWell done on creating this bar graph of the hottest temperature on record in some cities. Everything looks accurate on your graph - ka pai!
Isn't it crazy how the temperature in these cities can rise over 50°C and up to 70°C? I cannot imagine how they would survive in this heat. Did you hear about the recent heat wave that has hit Australia? If you haven't, you should have a read through this article:
https://edition.cnn.com/2019/01/18/australia/australia-heat-wave-peak-intl/index.html
It is sad to see how global warming has been acting as a cause of these unusual phenomenons. The hottest temperature I've ever been in was probably 34°C but it was hot enough to keep me frustrated!
Bye for now,
Susie
