lesson 1 week 1 day 5

I think logging should be allowed but they shouldn't be allowed to wreak our forests.
And they shouldn't be allowed to cut humongous trees down

  1. Hi Amber, it is Susie here.

It is great that you are getting through so many of the activities in such a short time period but I want to give you a gentle reminder that all questions listed in the activities (lessons) should be fully completed.

This means reading through the text carefully to understand the main point of the question. The second part of the question for this specific activity was to 'provide at least two reasons to support your argument'.

It is great to see that you have voiced your opinion on logging by saying that humongous trees should not be cut down, but what would your reasons be? I personally think that cutting down huge trees should not be allowed because it is a habitat (a place animals live in) for lots of birds and their nests. They would be absolutely frightened or even get hurt if their home falls smashing down to the ground without any warning! What are your thoughts? I would love to know. :)

I would also like to tell you to take a step back at this point to really be creative with each and every post you come across! It is not about getting everything done so quickly, it is more about us being able to talk about many different environmental topics as we move together step by step. Remember that I am always here to help you and guide you if you feel stuck!

The most important thing about the Summer Learning Journey is that we are in this exciting journey together, and I am here to support you at all times & learn with you all the way through!

Please take time to read what I have mentioned above so we can make this journey a meaningful one! Looking forward to viewing more of your amazing blog posts Amber.

    With love,
    Susie

  2. Also, can you please put the whole days worth of activities in one post?
This means you can name your posts e.g 'Week 1, day 2' and in the post you can label Activity 1, Activity 2 and Activity 3.

This way it will be much easier for both of us to find and come back to the activities that you've already completed. Thanks :)

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
