Hey guys I had to watch a video about prosthetic hands and write what I learned and what surprised me.
Learned : People have made over 1000 Prosthetic Hands.
Surprised me : That the kids Prosthetic Hands are FREE!!
I am a student at Wigram Primary School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Kia ora Amber,
ReplyDeleteGreat work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity - keep up the good work. Don’t forget to comment back to blog commenters as well as on others SLJ blog posts to gain extra points.
Wow, 1000 prosthetic hands is a lot. Did you find out how long it takes to make just 1 of them? Technology is incredible, how cool is it that the recipient is able to move the hand themselves and everything? I am so happy that they are free for children so that a child that needs one can receive one regardless of money.
Until next time, happy blogging :)
Emma
