SLJ Week 1 Day 1 Bonus Activity!

Hey here is my last activity for the day.
I had to chose a charity to write about, I chose the SPCA.
Here is my work

SPCA CHARITY
The spca charity gets donations from people all around the world and that money goes to help and look after the animals in need of food and water. The SPCA looks after and rescues animals all over the country. For Example if a kitten is stuck in a gap the SPCA rescue would find a way to save it and, they will bring it back to the SPCA place and take care of it will the things they have brought from the money they get from the donations. That is why they have a charity.

  1. Bula Amber,

Well done on another awesome SLJ activity posted on your blog. You are powering through the activities! Just remember to take some time out from your screen to do other fun things on your time off.

The SPCA is such an amazing organisation that does incredible things to help animals in need. We have a cat at home that we adopted in Australia from a cat rescue organisation and we are so glad we did. We love him so much that we moved him all the way back to New Zealand with us from Australia. I don't think he enjoyed the plane ride very much though.
Do you have any animals at home? If you could rescue any animal and take it home, what would it be?

Until next time, happy blogging :)

  2. Hey Emma
The reson why I have doing so is because I have going on a holiday for christmas to the north island! And I am leaving THIS sunday!, and I really want to get a prize!
Anyway... I used to have pets, We had a dog that was a border collie called karlos, and a cat called dusky, but I called her munchy. They have sadly passed away. Dusky/Munchy was 18! when she passed away, she passed away last year on the 1st of july. But we might get a kitten next year! I have saving up for kitten stuff. If I was to rescue an animal it would be a kitten. what is your dream pet.
    Bye Amber %)

  3. Hi Amber,

Ah, I see why you are in such a rush then however remember that the programme does end until the 24th of January so you could always do some catching up when you return.

It's sad when pets pass away however it's lucky that we get to have many years of joy with them. Wow 18! That was very old in cat years, she did very well.

My dream pet would probably be a lamb, I'd love to have a pet lamb.
What do you think you would call your kitten if you got one?

Until next time, happy blogging :)

  4. Hey Emma
The kitten would be a boy because if Its a girl and when it gets older it might have kittens! we don't want any more kittens/pets.
I don't know what I would call it but some of my ideas are , Rocky, Binger.
what would you call your lamb if you got one?

  5. Kia ora Amber,

That's a great point! Having really little kittens would be a lot of hard work.
Those are some great name you have thought of for kitten names.
I think if i got a lamb I would have to call it Mary like the nursery rhyme (Mary had a little lamb). What do you think?

Until next time, happy blogging :)
